Are You Losing Sales Because Your Website is Too Busy?

As an entrepreneur you know that having a website makes you look more professional and gives you more credibility which increases sales, but is your website too busy?  Time and time again I visit websites that leave me dazed and confused because I don’t know where to start.

You know the sites that have banners, opt-in forms, flash images, pictures, and several different products featured all on one page.  I know you want your website visitors to know all about you, but if you confuse them, they will leave your site and go to your competition.

If you feature several products or offer several services, make sure that you have a page dedicated for that particular product or service. You don’t have to hit your visitors with everything at once, because that will hurt you more than help you.  The pages on your website need to be focused!

Decide on the main action that you want your website visitors to take and make that clear on the page.  If one of your visitors is interested in something that you offer that is not featured on that page, they will find it as long as your site has user friendly navigation, with a direct path to follow.

So think about what you want your website visitors to do when they come to various pages on your website and make it clear and easy for them to take that action.
